Tutor's Code of Conduct

Although AZ Education has no jurisdiction over the conduct of the tutors, penalties will be imposed on tutors who display poor conduct over the course of lesson.

Penalties include but are not limited to: termination of tutors account with AZ Education, immediate termination of tutors assignment rights, compensation to AZ Education through legal entities and serious legal actions in extreme cases etc

Objectives

The objectives of AZ Education Tutors Code of Conduct (the "Code of Conduct") are:

1. To ensure the user/members of AZ Education are provided with the best possible matching/services through the facility provided by AZ Education.



2. To ensure Tutors licensed with AZ Education conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism and act in an ethical manner in all dealings with the students and parents.

Code of conduct

	Dressing. Tutors should conduct themselves and avoid dressing inappropriately. Be reminded that the parent/student has every right to reject a tutor based on dressing.
	Professionalism. Tutor should display their professionalism as a teacher to the students at all times. Tutor shall not seek or accept gifts or favors for services performed.
	Responsibilities. Tutor should have a greater sense of responsibilities. They shouldnt stop any lesson without informing the student or parent verbally. Using the form of SMS and emails shouldnt be regarded as a form of communications. Changing of lesson should be informed earlier to avoid any miscommunications. Be responsible, accountable and a good adult role model.
	Punctuality. Tutors must be punctual for the tuition sessions at all times. In cases due to unforeseen circumstances when tutors are late, please kindly inform them as soon as possible. Any complains or negative feedback directly to us will be reviewed seriously and dealt accordingly.
	Passion. Love your job! Stay passionate and motivated. Demonstrate a belief that all Students can learn.
	Commitment. Tutor should show the commitment in teaching the students once they have accepted the tuition assignment.
	Patient. Be patient at all times. Behave with a caring, compassionate, honest and patient attitude towards the students.
	Conflict of Interest. Tutors must avoid situations where their personnel or financial interest may be reasonably to be in conflict with their work ethnic and professionalism.
	Plagiarism. Tutors must not engage in any form of plagiarism at any time. They should discourage any student who does so.

Complaints

Complaints made to any tutors will be treated seriously and respectfully.

Sanctions

Where AZ Education in its sole and absolute discretion determines that a Tutor is not complying with the Code of Conduct, it may issue warnings or censures to such Tutor; suspend for a specific time period or cancel or terminate such Tutors membership on the Site.
