AZ Education reserves the right at any time and from time to time to discontinue or modify any aspect of the Site or any services provided on or in respect of the Site with or without notice. You agree that AZ Education shall not be hold liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Site or any services provided on or in respect of the Site.
Some of the site contents are only made available to parties who have registered as registered user or members of the site with AZ Education. You hereby undertake, agree and confirm that all information provided to AZ Education is true, correct and complete in conjunction with such registration as members and users. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Site. Students are required to consult their parents or guardians about whether this Site is suitable for them prior to using the Site.
AZ Education does not warrant nor guarantee that information transmitted through the Internet is secure or that such transmissions will be free from delay, interruption, interception or error.
AZ Education will terminate any users access to the Site if AZ Education determines in its sole discretion that such user has breached the terms of this Agreement.
AZ Education reserves the right to decide in its sole discretion whether any content or User Submitted Information is appropriate and is in compliance with the terms under this Agreement.
The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern these Terms & Conditions.

For Tutors
Tutor Eligibility
You need to be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident aged 18 and above with qualified qualification.
Permanent Resident or a Foreigner holding a student pass or work permits may apply with a qualification equivalent to O Level and above.
Qualifications and Certificates For Tutors
You are to fill in your qualifications and results as accurate and complete as possible.
After filling up the tutor registration form, tutors are required to scan and email to AZ Education copies of their certificates for verification. Upon verification, priority to assignments will definitely be given.
Present your certificates of qualification on the first lesson to the parent.
AZ Education reserves the right to request copies of your original certificates for verification.
AZ Education shall not be liable for any misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracies of information provided by you.
First lesson and Assignment
A representative from AZ Education will inform you to call the customer before the first lesson begins. You are expected to contact the customer before the first lesson for re-confirmation of the tuition information.
Upon confirmation of the tuition assignment, failure to turn for the first lesson or any other reasons caused by you resulting in the cancellation of the assignment will lead to the termination of your tutor account. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Please be reminded that you are required to bring your original certificates on the first lesson with or without any request from the parent or student.
Tutor's responsibilities and conduct
Tutor must be punctual. If tutor cant turn up for any lesson, tutor must inform the parents immediately to re-schedule another lesson. Tutors who stopped tuition without informing the customer through the phone or in person will have their account closed. SMS or emails are not considered as a means for informing the customer.
Tutors should dress appropriately at all times. Although AZ Education do not impose penalty on inappropriate dressing, customer has every right to reject a tutor based on their dressing.
In cases when customer may dispute that a tutor has provide poor service and refused payment. The tutor has to pay AZ Education, the first months commission charges.
However, if the tutor is able to provide strong evidence in writing that lesson was given properly, we will proceed with billing to the customer.
Please refer to our Tutor's Code of Conduct for more details.
AZ Education does not allow the commission to be collected in installments.
AZ Education tries to be fair to the tutor and will look into exceptions.
If a customer still refuses to pay, AZ Education will proceed with legal action via Small Claims Tribunal depending on the amount involved.
AZ Education has successfully reclaimed payment for tutors for non-paying customers.
Students and tutors are encouraged to at least complete one month of tutoring. This will allow both parties to adapt to each others style of learning and teaching.
For the 1st month, tutor will receive 50% commission, as 50% will be paid to AZ Education. 2nd month onwards, tutor will receive 100% commission.
Should there be any cancellation of tutoring before one month; parents need to pay only the number of sessions attended. A new tutor will be assigned as soon as possible.
Payment for Tuition Services
The customer will pay AZ Education 50% commission after the 2nd week of the commencement of tuition. The other 50% commission will be paid to the tutor directly after the completion of the 1st month of tuition.
You need to be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident aged 18 and above with qualified qualification.
